The Bobo tribe live in eastern Burkina Faso and make up a predominant farming community. This warrior figure has two swords crossed and is protected by a sheet of armor. His helmet exemplifies the strong protector of the tribe.
"The Lobi tribes live in Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana and were formerly warlike, which is evident in their defensive compounds with narrow openings and fairly high walls."
